Dear Parents-

Here are some reminders for tonight's swim meet.

1. Please park on the street. The parking lot is for the other team and officials. Please park on one side of the street. We sit on the deck side of the pool as a team. The visiting team has the playground side of the pool.

2. Remember that all Twister families are suppose to bring a side item for the concession stand. No desserts. Should be side items like salads, fruit, casseroles, pasta that go well with burgers , hotdogs , and chicken sandwiches.

3. If you are a volunteer for the first shift, we will be having a meeting with the ASA official about 5:15. Please see Beth Bacon to get paperwork and equipment you need. If you are working a job for the first time , we will have someone to assist you in getting started. If you are a second shift worker, you will start you job half way through the meet at event 43. 

4. Arrival: 4:15PM. Warm-ups 4:30PM. Meet start time: 5:30PM.

5. Weather......  we hope to complete the swim meet tonight or at least get half the meet in. If there is thunder, we have to delay. Please be on the lookout for updates sent out as the meet gets closer this afternoon. Coach Emma and Coach Eli like for the swimmers to be there at 4:15, but please make a judgement call for your family. If it is thundering at 4:15, wait a little bit. If there are tornado warnings, of course, it is going to be better to stay at your house. We will be doing everything possible to get the meet in, but use your judgement at the same time. If it is raining , we can have the meet as long as we can see the bottom of the pool. If that is the case, come with a poncho to be out in the rain. Again, we will be showing up tonight per Atlanta Swim Association rules and try to get the meet in. If we have to reschedule, it will be a decision between the two teams (who have showed up), and we usually do a make up the next evening , Wednesday. We hope not to do that, but if so, the coaches will need quick RSVP's for the next night to work on line up. If that becomes the case , we will be communicating on how to do that.
