Hello everyone, 

We are thrilled to be coaching the Twisters this summer! I have been part of this team for 11 years and Wade for 9 years. Now that we are both rising seniors, we have spent most of our lives swimming in this pool, and we are so excited for the awesome season ahead of us. We have enjoyed getting to know all of the swimmers over the past two weeks, and we can't wait to see what they can do on Tuesday. 

We will be swimming against Kingsley at our first meet on Tuesday, and the registration for that meet is now open. We ask that you let us know whether your child can attend the meet by Saturday night. On Tuesday, we will sent out a list of entries so that everyone can know what they are swimming. Since we do not have practice Tuesday morning, it would be great if you could write your child's events on their arm in sharpie with their event number, heat, and lane. If you do not know how to do that, we can take care of it at the meet. We will warm up as a team at 4:30pm, so please have your child there by 4:15pm so that they have plenty of time to get their events and get prepared to swim. We know that the middle schoolers will get out of school later than the other swimmers, so we will fit them into warm-ups as they get to the meet.

Additional Information:

1. Don't forget-- tomorrow (Friday, 5/21) is our Gyro Gyro Spirit Day! Visit anytime between 11am - 8pm, order to dine on their patio or take out for lunch or dinner, mention you are with Fontainebleau Swim Team and a portion of the proceeds will go to benefit our Swim Team! Support local and in turn support our Swim Team!
2. Our first swim meet is right around the corner, and we need ALL families to help stock the Twister Cafe! Please sign up to bring an item that we will use over the course of our Home Swim Meets. You can drop off during practices next week or next weekend ahead of our first Home Meet on 5/25. 3. Also in regards to the twister cafe, please bring a side dish to the meet on Tuesday that can feed 10-12 people if your child is participating in the meet.
4. Merchandise orders: for anyone that ordered team suits, caps and/or t-shirts, we will start handing those out at practices Monday night. If you miss practice, we will have everything at the pool at 4pm Tuesday ahead of the meet.  

Reminder that the link to sign up for a parent job is up on the website. Please sign up for a job if you have a child swimming in the meet. 

Parking: We reserve the parking lot for the visiting team and officials so please park on Fontainebleau Drive on one side of the street.
