Have a few important updates before we kick off the holiday weekend!

Memorial Day Cookout Fundraiser: Everyone will be receiving an Evite for the Swim Team Cookout on Sunday, May 30th at 6pm at the Fontainebleau pool (if not, let me know). All swim team coaches/swimmers and their families are invited to join us. FSTC Membership will be in attendance as well. If you would like to help with the cookout (grilling, set up, serving or clean up), please send Jen Belknap an email or text. 

Tuesday, June 1st Swim Meet: Beth Bacon our Meet Manager and our coaching staff will be sending out emails soon about our next meet. In the meantime, a reminder that this will be our VIRTUAL meet, meaning that Huntcliff will be swimming at their pool and we will swim at our pool, Fontainebleau. We will run it somewhat like a normal meet, but may have some extra pauses between events, if swimmers need to catch their breath. With it only being our team, we have a little more flexibility on the timing, but it should still be a quick meet. So a few important things to note for this one virtual meet:

1. Team Picture at 5pm: We would like to try to take a team photo. So if you could please have your swimmers at the pool, dressed in their Twisters suit or a dark colored suit and with their green Twisters shirt. If you don't have a Twisters shirt, we will try to get one for you to borrow for the photo. Please arrive on time (and note: this is actually later then we usually call for swimmers at a home meet).
2. Warm-ups will then start at 5:30pm with the meet itself beginning a bit later than usual, at 6pm.
3. Concessions: we will have a full concessions for this meet. So come hungry!
4. Let's make it fun! We are going to need some extra cheering for our team, since it will just be us. Come ready to cheer LOUDLY! And in return we might have some fun surprises for our swimmers, families and fans! So, bring your friends, bring your family, bring your neighbors to come have dinner and cheer on the Twisters!

Finally, a HUGE thank you to everyone who participated in our Spirit Days with Moondog Growlers and Gyro Gyro! We were able to bring in a bit of money to benefit the team and help support some local businesses. Thank you!
