*We still need to fill the 2^nd half Master Recorder and the 2^nd
half timer jobs for Tuesday’s meet.If you have a child swimming in the meet, please try to have at least
one volunteer from your family signed up for a job.

1.Our team’s warm up time is at 4:50 so please have your
swimmer there a few minutes before then.

2. If your child is swimming on Tuesday night, please sign up for a job. We
have less jobs when we are participating in an away meet, but we still have a couple
to fill. There will be job training with
the official at 5:15PM. The meet should start at approximately 5:30PM.

3. See the following from Huntsville regarding seating: We do have
some seating around the pool for spectators. We suggest the visiting team set
up camp in the field just north of the pool. We have an event counter that will
be visible from the field as well as the pool deck in the upstairs balcony
area. Please bring tents, chairs, bug spray and blankets so your team will be
more comfortable. Our field and pool is located very near the Chattahoochee
River. It is a beautiful site to enjoy. We ask that families keep an eye on
their children and remind them that the river is not like the pool. Depending
on the day, the river current can be very strong. We have a playground in the
area that will be taped off. We ask that no one plays on the playground during
the swim meet.

4. See the following from Huntstville regarding parking: We will
have a volunteer responsible for directing cars for where they can park. Our
main lot fills up quickly and depending on whether our overflow field might not
be available. We ask everyone to carpool when possible. If we are not
able to use the field then cars will need to park on the road going up the
hill. We ask that they only park on the right side when heading up the hill. If
we are able to use the field, we are only able to park around the perimeter of
the field. The center of this field is a flood zone and has caused cars to get
stuck when they do not follow this request.

5. PARENTS - Please talk with your children and let them know that swimmers
are responsible for getting lined up for their events on time. The official
will start the event without someone in their lane. The deck of the clubhouse
will have each event number posted as the meet moves on and there will be an
announcer for events.

7. I am your Meet Manager. If you have any questions, please reach out to
me, I will be happy to answer questions. I will be coordinating all the job
workers. Please find me when you arrive, and I will help you get started. If
you are working the second shift and this will be your first-time volunteering
at a swim meet, you can shadow the first shift person and watch them a few
minutes before you start.
