Next Swim Meet | Tuesday 6/3
Hello Twisters Parents,
Our next swim meet is next Tuesday 6/3 at Deer Brooke Waters.
Brooke Farm Pool address: 5089 Brooke Farm Drive, Dunwoody, GA 30338
Please read all the details below which contain important information.
Food – The home team is working to finalize their concession menu (cash and venmo @Kendall-Crye). Please consider supporting their team as this is their only fundraising event for the year.
Parking - We should park in the main parking lot off Brooke Farm Dr which dead ends at the pool (5089 isn’t the official address but will get you there), and they will have overflow parking on the street. For street parking, please park on the RIGHT side of the street ONLY as you are exiting the pool. They will have signs posted.
Arrival Time - Swimmers should arrive between 4:30-4:45 to get situated and ensure they have their events on their arms prior to our 5:00 warmup time.
Jobs –Swim meets are only possible with the support of our awesome parent volunteers.We have less jobs to fill as the vising team but do still need to get the jobs filled and the link is below to sign up.

Registration - Please make sure to register your child for next week’s meet on Swimtopia ASAP so that the coaches know who to register for events. Registration locks at some point the day prior to the meet. I’d recommend going ahead and registering for the rest of the meets this season if you know your availability.
Seating - Visitor Bullpen is their adult pool deck area.Enter through the gate off BF, pass the pavilion on the left, and continue up the sidewalk to the left.Unfortunately, the adult pool does not have a lifeguard and therefore swimming in this (small) pool is not allowed during the meet. They acknowledge this is difficult for the visiting swimmers to comply with and appreciate our help in monitoring this to help keep our kids safe and respect the HOA rules.The area has plenty of shade and some seating and is close to the bathrooms and concession stand.
Swimmers - Please talk to your children and let them know that swimmers are responsible for getting lined up for their events on time. The official will start the event without someone in their lane.
Meet Manager. If you have any questions, please reach out to me.I will be coordinating all the job workers. I’ll be wearing a Twister shirt and red hat. We’ll have a meeting for all volunteers prior to the start of the meet. If you are working the second shift and this will be your first-time volunteering, you can shadow the first shift person and watch them for a few minutes before you start.
