Hello Twisters Parents,

Our next swim meet is next Tuesday 6/10 at Zaban.

Please read all the details below which contain important information. I’ve tried reaching out to the rep for Zaban but haven’t heard back, so I’ll send updated info if any of the below changes.

Food – In the past they’ve had a concession stand along with a pizza vending machine.

Parking – Tell the security guard that you’re there for the swim meet, they’ll let you in and then you should be able to park anywhere.

Arrival Time - Swimmers should arrive between 4:30-4:45 to get situated and ensure they have their events on their arms prior to our 5:00 warmup time.This is subject to change based on info coming from the other team.

Jobs –Swim meets are only possible with the support of our awesome parent volunteers.We have less jobs to fill as the vising team but do still need to get the jobs filled and the link is below to sign up.

Registration - Please make sure to register your child for next week’s meet on Swimtopia ASAP so that the coaches know who to register for events. Registration locks at some point the day prior to the meet. I’d recommend going ahead and registering for the rest of the meets this season if you know your availability.

Seating – If I’m remembering correctly there is plenty of seating and we can sit wherever we want but I’ll provide an update if I hear back from the other team.

Swimmers - Please talk to your children and let them know that swimmers are responsible for getting lined up for their events on time. The official will start the event without someone in their lane.

Meet Manager. If you have any questions, please reach out to me.I will be coordinating all the job workers. I’ll be wearing a Twister shirt and red hat. We’ll have a meeting for all volunteers prior to the start of the meet. If you are working the second shift and this will be your first-time volunteering, you can shadow the first shift person and watch them for a few minutes before you start.
