Hello Parents,

Please see below for details about our ASA session on Friday morning.

Parking - Coaches and team vehicles will NOT receive free parking passes. Prepaid parking will be available in the W10 parking deck that is adjacent to the CRC. To park in this deck, you must pre-purchase a parking pass, you cannot pay at the gate. To pre-purchase parking please visit https://gatech.parkmobile.io/events . Parking costs will be between $12-15. Overflow parking for W10 and any day of parking for those who did not prepay is located at the W02 lot at 355 Ferst Drive (this is the student center lot). These are relatively short walks from the pool. A map of the area can be found at Georgia Tech General Parking Map and ASA Parking Diagram and Map.

Arrival – Our team’s session starts at 9:30 on Friday (6/27) morning. Our warmup is in the girls’ pool in lane 8 from 9:10-9:25 AM. We’re allowed to enter the building 30 minutes prior to our warmup session. Let’s meet in the grass lawn in front of the Campus Recreation Center between 8:15-8:30 so that we can all walk in together as a team at 8:40. Traffic can be an issue so please plan accordingly.

Seating – Our Seating is Section 201 Row F. Parents are not allowed on the pool deck and only the swimmers and coaches are.The coaches will help your child get lined up and where they need to be prior to their events.

Additional Information – Below is the link to the ASA site which has more information. I’ve also attached the entry sheet so you can see what events everyone on our team is swimming in and the psych sheet, which has the events along with times and the names of everyone your kids will be competing against. Heat sheets will be available 48 hours before the meet. I’ll print out a couple copies for the coaches and will email a pdf version to the parents.

Jobs - Due to our small team size, we’re only required to fill one job role. I requested either Runner or Drink worker but instead we were assigned Crowd Control. I’m happy to handle this job and may just ask that someone cover for me during the times that my boys are swimming if I don’t have a good view from where my assigned area is.
