As you know, the Twister Board are busy parents and 100% volunteers!  I'd be rich if I was getting paid all this time!!! Two positions will be open and we need YOU to shadow these roles during the 2018 season.  We have loads of experience, ready to train the next crew, and looking forward to retirement!

1) Concession-Jenny MacDonald has done an awesome job running the Twister cafe for 10+ years.  Next year will be her last year and we need someone to volunteer to take over home meet concessions.  She will show you how to: stock the cafe, estimate/purchase main items for our home meets, set/stage the cafe, get reimbursed for all expenses, etc.  Our concessions are ALWAYS a team favorite and a big money maker for our program.  Please contact Jenny MacDonald at [email protected]

2) President-I have served as president for too long and we need someone NEW!  Much of this role takes place pre-season:hiring coaches, issuing contracts, meeting with coaches and swim board as needed. During the season there is "behind the scenes" activity, such as: communicating with the team, coaches, treasurer, meet rep, hy-tech crew, concessions, and meet manager to make sure that meets are prepped and ready. With our new online registration (thank you Deanna Jones), team website, easy Remind app, and Beth Bacon's organization,  I can assure you that my job has become  easier! Thank you to Roger Bottomley for serving as one of our Hy-Tech guys for forever and thanks to Steve Walker for volunteering to replace him next year.
